Erin Crockett developed a love of the outdoors during childhood trips to Maui to visit her grandma. She specifically grew to love the beautiful colors and smells of the tropical flowers and the transformation this island paradise experienced every year during summer. The flowers in full bloom cover the island in heavenly scents and colors. Erin further developed her love for flowers when she began studying floral design in high school. These floral design classes led to an interest in owning her own business and learning everything she could about her trade. In that pursuit, Erin graduated from BYU with a B.S. in Landscape Management, combining the business skills needed for being an entrepreneur with the knowledge of flowers and greenery needed to further her abilities in floral design.
Erin opened Erin Taylor Floral in 2018 and has since served clients in Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. While mainly focusing on weddings, Erin also enjoys creating arrangements for funeral services. In both types of events, Erin strives to represent the personality of the individuals in her work. A funeral client recently stated, “she captured my mom exactly.” Erin loves what she does and hopes to continue to serve individuals ready to begin their lives with their special someone. Erin and her husband Levi are proud parents of two-year-old Callie, who loves loudly smelling all of mom’s projects.
